The Memento Clock is a solid cement wall clock designed by Alessandro Zambelli. The clock has been manufactured by pouring concrete into a stick-resistant wooden mould that exalts every detail of the surface texture, giving both a lightness to the concrete and a rugged industrial feel. The Ø55cm clock is supplied with one pair of bright orange hands and one pair of copper hands as standard, both of which can be interchanged to suit your tastes and the ever changing tides of interior fashion.
The name and material of the clock itself is a clever play on words. Cemento is the Itallian expression for concrete, whilst Memento is the Latin expression for memory. Interpret as you wish!
