She combines her training with inspiration from extensive world travels. Fluent in French and a lover of the music of Flaubert and Mauriac, she has classic tastes combined with contemporary elegance. “It isn’t about faddish hotel looks that are seen the world over, but about timeless style, pieces you fall in love with, matched with a strong structure and good taste,” she said.

Although the business was officially established only two years ago, managing director Sarah Brown has been working in architecture and design for more than a decade now. Her commissions – both in the UK and in Australia – have included rustic Cotswold cottages and luxury beach homes in Sydney. Sarah works closely with architects to ensure a ‘cohesive’ interior.
