A popular British company which believes in ‘putting comfort first’, Cintique certainly have the credentials for knowing how to, considering they have been designing upholstered furniture for more than a century now.

All their current offerings have a strong environmental emphasis, coming from managed forests in Europe and produced in low waste and emission-managed workshops.

The brand’s chairs, sofas and recliners are upholstered in the firm’s unique custom fabrics on solid ash timber frames. Each piece is individual, with its own knots and other characterful wood traits. It is put together using traditional joinery skills such as  mortise and tendon joints – as a result each piece of Cintique furniture is guaranteed to last as long as possible.

Sit in selected Cintique chairs and you’ll discover how comfortable the brand’s unique spring system is. We can assure you, you won’t want to get up again.

Cintique Armchairs

Available in a choice of fabrics, designs and with excellent lumber support, the brand’s armchair range is varied and would suit a country cottage, traditional and contemporary sitting room or bedroom. One of our favourites is the elegant and traditional Avon Armchair with its slip, high back design and sprung seat panels for both comfort and support. It’s available in four different finishes and has twin grab handles for ease of use:

Cintique Recliner

Everyone loves a recliner seat and Cintique offer this option in both their Transitional and Classic ranges. The one we’re focusing on today is the Classic Eton Recliner.  Available to buy in a range of fabrics and sizes – including an excellent fit for smaller rooms – there are five different varieties of wood frame such as light oak, mid oak, golden, antique and autumn.  

The recliner can be customised to suit most rooms while it comes with both fibre-filled and foam cushions to sink into. The recliner action is manual and involves pushing back using the arms: the footrest rolls out automatically.

Cintique  Two-seater sofa

The brand’s two seater sofas are perfect for smaller rooms or acting as larger fireside chairs. Roomy and comfortable, as well as stylish, they add a touch of luxury to any home.

As you’d expect from Cintique, the Winchester two seater comes in a variety of fabric finishes, so too does the solid Ash frame. All cushions are high backed and contain smart buttons while the seat panels are sprung fronted for support. Another plus is the twin grab handles to make manoeuvring in and out easier:

Cintique Three-seater sofa

All three seaters in the Cintique range could be described as sumptuous; elegant is another word that could apply, regardless of which particular collection the sofa derives from. Take the Lydia Collection sofa, for instance. It offers high back lumbar support in a contemporary style while the seat panels are fully reversible. It offers a choice of leathers, fabrics and woods to allow you to customise to your heart’s content:
