South West London Interior Designers You Should Know
As you would imagine, due to its high property prices, South West London has a number of interior designers living within its midst. Here at Vale Furnishers we’ve been taking a look through some of their website and work profiles in order to compile a diverse list of interior designers in SW London. The list has been curated to appeal to a cross-section of tastes. Most of those featured focus on high-end interior design but we have also included a couple of designers who focus on householders with ‘less robust’ budgets. Whether you’re looking to hire an interior designer or just browsing, here’s our list of the best South West London interior designers in the capital to get you inspired:
Jessica Brook Design
This award-winning interior designer is well-known for her elegant and sophisticated interiors, which mix both classic and contemporary elements. She has been immersed in the world of interior design for 15 years now, having originally enjoyed a career as a Fine Artist. Jessica later went on to complete a Masters in Architectural Interior Design at the Inchbald School of Design in London. She enjoys using natural materials where possible and places a high emphasis on attention to detail.
Serene rooms, often with a muted palette, are the trademark of Juliette Byrne’s interior design style. Chelsea-based Julie, who has been running her own architectural interior design consultancy for a quarter of a century now, produces elegant and sophisticated interiors incorporating classic and contemporary elements.
A graduate of the Chelsea School of Art who later went on to train at Conran Design, Julie is a member of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) and a RIBA affiliate. She also finds time in her busy design career to lecture regularly at the Inchbald School of Design.
A former employee of Hello Magazine and The Telegraph Newspaper Group, Emma decided to follow her first love and retrained at the KLC School of Design. After working for The Dining Chair Company to gain experience she went on to set up her own consultancy Emma Victoria ID. She lists her specialist areas as client relationships, project management and negotiation with suppliers. Her service covers many budgets so that interior design can prove affordable to those with limited spending capacity.
A graduate of the Inchbald School of Interior Design, Clare Williams went on to set up her own interior design practice 16 years ago. The UK designer has travelled extensively, including long residencies in South Africa. Because of this exposure to African art, ethnic design features highly in Clare’s work. As well as residential interior design, Clare works with property developers on large-scale interiors planning.
Former advertising and marketing executive, Lizzie Stueck turned to the world of interior design back in 2005. After graduating with Honours from London’s prestigious KLC School of Design – where she was awarded ‘Student of the Year -she relocated to The Cayman Islands. There she worked at an interiors consultancy, providing design services for an international clientele. Having returned to London she set up her own interior design practice, Driftwood & Velvet Interiors.
