Porada Bedsteads

Porada's bedsteads bring the manufacturer's elegant, contemporary design into the bedroom. The Softbay bed, featured in our collection, has a softer, upholstered appearance that offers a different character from traditional wooden bed frames.

Plan around the complete bed, not just the mattress size

When choosing a bedstead, check its overall dimensions, including the headboard and any frame extending beyond the mattress. Allow room for bedside furniture, walking space and access around the bed.

Think about the height and shape of the headboard, particularly if you like to sit up in bed. It is also important to confirm mattress compatibility and the construction of the supporting base before ordering.

Consider access before choosing the size

Large bedsteads can present delivery challenges, particularly where stairs, narrow entrances or restricted bedroom access are involved. We can help you consider measurements and delivery requirements alongside the design.
