Think about how you like to relax

Consider whether you want to sit with your legs supported, stretch out or use the chaise as part of a larger seating arrangement. The length, seat depth and backrest angle all affect how naturally you can settle into the furniture.

Allow enough room around the chaise and think about its orientation in relation to other seating. If it forms part of a sofa configuration, check how the arrangement works for everyone using it, not just the person occupying the chaise section.
