Your pillow should work with your mattress

Choosing a pillow isn't simply about deciding whether you prefer something soft or firm. The right pillow needs to support your head and neck in relation to your usual sleeping position and the mattress underneath you.

A pillow that works well on one mattress may feel quite different on another. A softer mattress allows your shoulder to sink further into the bed, for example, which can change the amount of pillow height you need.

Try your pillow with the mattress

If you're choosing a new Vispring mattress, we'd recommend considering your pillow at the same time.

At our Ash Vale showroom, you can lie down properly in your normal sleeping position and try different pillows with the mattress you're considering. Our team can help you look at the position of your head, neck and shoulders rather than choosing purely from how a pillow feels when you first pick it up.

We also stock pillows from other specialist bedding suppliers, so you don't have to choose a Vispring pillow simply because you're buying a Vispring bed.
