Calligaris Mirrors

A Calligaris mirror can be more than a practical piece of glass on the wall. Many designs are intended as pieces of furniture in their own right, using shape, framing and material details to add something to the room even before you consider the reflection.

Consider what the mirror will relate to

If a mirror is going above a sideboard or another piece of furniture, consider the proportions of the two together rather than choosing each independently. The shape and scale of the mirror should feel appropriate for the furniture and wall space around it.

The glass itself can change the effect

Alongside conventional silver mirror finishes, Calligaris offers designs using bronze and smoked mirror effects. These create a different visual result from standard clear mirror and can relate particularly well to other Calligaris furniture using similar glass and metal finishes.

Small details can help connect pieces without making the room overly matched. A metal detail on a mirror, for example, can relate to the frame or base colour used elsewhere in the furniture.
