Actona bedside chests are particularly useful where you want practical bedside storage without using too much floor space. Their compact proportions can work well in smaller bedrooms, guest rooms or anywhere there is limited space between the bed and the wall.

Start with the space beside your bed

Measure the available width, but also think about height. A bedside chest needs to be comfortable to reach from the bed, with enough surface space for the things you normally keep beside you. If you need more storage, check the usable drawer space rather than choosing on appearance alone.

Actona bedside chests are supplied for home assembly

Unlike most furniture we sell at Vale, Actona bedside chests are delivered boxed rather than fully assembled. Our own Vale team will deliver your furniture, but you will need to assemble it at home.

Actona thinks carefully about how its furniture can be packed efficiently and how the components fit together afterwards. From our experience with the range, the instructions are clear, the fittings work as they should and the assembly process is well considered.
