Actona Occasional Chairs

Actona occasional chairs are worth considering when you want an extra chair that brings something to the room without the size or cost of a more substantial armchair. They can work particularly well in a bedroom, home office or living space where the chair will be used occasionally rather than as your main seat every evening.

Think about how much the chair will actually be used

A chair for putting on shoes in a bedroom has a different job from one you expect to sit in for several hours. Start with how you will use it, then consider comfort, size and style. In a smaller room, also allow enough space around the chair so that an attractive design does not make the room difficult to move through.

If you like the look of an Actona chair but want something with a different finish, size or level of comfort, talk to us. We can help you compare it with our wider occasional chair collection and other seating in the showroom.

Actona occasional chairs are supplied for home assembly

Unlike most seating we sell at Vale, Actona occasional chairs are supplied boxed for home assembly. They are delivered by our own Vale team, but you will need to complete the assembly yourself.

Actona considers how its furniture is packed and assembled as part of the design. From our experience with the range, the instructions are clear and the fittings work as they should.

If you are looking for a chair for more regular or prolonged use, or would prefer something delivered assembled, talk to us. We can help you compare other seating that may be better suited to the job.
