Actona Office Chairs

Actona office chairs can be a practical, affordable choice for a home workspace, particularly where you want something that does not make the room feel overly corporate. Before choosing on appearance, though, think about how often you work there and how long you normally sit at the desk.

The more you use the chair, the more important the fit becomes

An office chair used occasionally has a different job from one you sit in throughout the working week. Check that the seat and back feel comfortable for you and that the chair can be set at a sensible height for your desk. Also make sure there is enough room to move the chair and sit comfortably once the desk and any other furniture are in place.

If you like the look of an Actona chair but need something different in comfort, adjustment or size, talk to us rather than choosing on appearance alone. We can help you compare our wider office chair collection.

Actona office chairs are supplied for home assembly

Actona office chairs are delivered boxed by our own Vale team and require assembly at home. Actona thinks carefully about how its furniture is packed and put together and, from our experience, the instructions are clear and the fittings work as they should.

Once assembled, take the time to adjust the chair to suit you and your desk rather than simply using the settings as they first come out of the box.

If home assembly is not for you, or you need more help finding a chair for regular working, talk to the team and we can look at other options.
