Actona Desks

Actona desks can work particularly well when you want to create a useful workspace without making the room feel like a conventional office. The range includes well-designed, relatively compact options that can suit a home office, spare bedroom or a working area within another room.

Work out how much desk space you actually need

Think about what will normally be on the desk. A compact design may be perfectly adequate if you mainly work from a laptop, while a separate monitor, paperwork or other equipment can quickly make a small desktop feel crowded. Check the width and depth as well as any storage, and allow enough room for your chair and for you to sit comfortably.

If you like the style of an Actona desk but need a different size, finish or arrangement, compare our wider desk collection or talk to us. We can look across different suppliers and help you find something that works for the space rather than asking you to compromise on an important detail.

Actona desks are supplied for home assembly

Actona desks are delivered boxed by our own Vale team rather than fully assembled, so you will need to put the desk together at home. Before delivery, it is worth thinking about where you will assemble it; in a smaller room it can be easier to build the desk close to where it will ultimately sit.

Actona designs its furniture with efficient packing and transport in mind and also considers how the components go together once they reach your home. From our experience, the instructions are clear, the fittings work as they should and the assembly process is well thought through.

If you would rather have a desk delivered assembled, let us know and we can help you compare alternatives from our wider range.
