Actona dining chairs can be bought separately from your dining table, so the table and chairs do not need to come from the same supplier. What matters is finding chairs that complement the table, fit comfortably around it and work with the rest of your room.
Whether you are choosing a new table or already have one at home, look at the proportions of the two together. Seat height, chair width and the position of the table legs all affect how comfortably the chairs fit and how many people you can seat. The finish matters too, particularly when you are combining furniture from different ranges.
If you are unsure about a chair you have seen in our showroom, talk to us. With smaller pieces we can sometimes let customers try an item at home, which can be useful for seeing it alongside an existing table and in the room's own light.
Unlike most of our dining chairs, which can be ordered individually, Actona chairs are sold in set quantities of two or four depending on the model. Check the quantity for the particular chair you are considering, especially if you need an odd number or are adding chairs to an existing dining set.
If you like an Actona chair but the finish, pack quantity or design is not quite right, talk to us. We can help you compare alternatives from our wider dining chair collection, including chairs that can be ordered individually.
Unlike most furniture we sell at Vale, Actona dining chairs are delivered boxed rather than fully assembled. Our own Vale team will deliver them, but you will need to assemble the chairs at home.
Actona thinks carefully about how its furniture is packed and put together. From our experience with the range, the instructions are clear, the fittings work as they should and the assembly process is well considered. Efficient packing and home assembly help Actona offer well-designed furniture at an accessible price.
If you would prefer dining chairs that arrive fully assembled, talk to us and we can help you compare other options.
