Actona Fixed Dining Tables

If you are looking for a compact, well-designed dining table at an affordable price, Actona is well worth considering. We have deliberately chosen smaller tables from the range, making them particularly useful for compact kitchens or where you want to fit a dining area into part of a living space.

A smaller table can make better use of the room

It can be tempting to fit the largest table possible into the space, but you also need room to pull chairs out and move around comfortably. In a smaller kitchen or an open-plan living and dining area, getting the proportions right can make the whole space easier to use.

Think about how many people will sit at the table most days and measure with the chairs in place, not just the dimensions of the tabletop. If you only occasionally need extra places, it may be better to solve that separately rather than making the room feel crowded every day.

Choose chairs that work with the table and the space

Your dining chairs do not need to come from Actona or from the same range as the table. What matters is that the proportions work together and the finishes complement one another. With a compact table, chair width and the position of the table legs are particularly important because they affect how many chairs will fit comfortably.

Actona dining tables are supplied for home assembly

Unlike most furniture we sell at Vale, Actona dining tables are delivered boxed rather than fully assembled. Our own Vale team will deliver your table, but you will need to assemble it at home.

Actona thinks carefully about how its furniture is packed efficiently and how the components fit together afterwards. From our experience with the range, the instructions are clear, the fittings work as they should and the assembly process is well considered.
