The support and back up you have given, and made available to us to resolve our difficulties over the past months, has meant a lot to us, and we will always remember your kindness and professionalism. Our lounge has now returned to normal following the visit of Steve and his assistant. They extremely efficiently dismantled our cupboards and shelves and then remounted them the following week, after the wall was redecorated. One of the benefits for us in dealing with Vale Furnishers has been the extremely high standard of customer service we have received and, it has certainly been a pleasure for us to speak to you and Steve over the past months. Dear Mr. Chandler, My late husband and myself have had several dealings with your company over the last 25 years or so and have always been more than satisfied each time we have done so. The reason for my letter to you is this: in today's world i find many people are very quick to complain, but very slow to praise, and i would like to do a little praising. Throughout our dealings with Vale Furnishers we have had the good fortune to have been dealt with each time by your wonderful Alan Partridge. A gentleman in every respect, charming, exceedingly knowledgeable, very helpful, and alongside all of these qualities, he carries with him a lovely sense of humour. Each time we have taken delivery of our goods your delivery team have always been most courteous and very obliging. To give you an idea of the impact of your donation, £195 could pay for 12 local disabled children to attend a fun filled evening at After School Club at our Farnham Centre. By collecting children from local special educational needs schools and bringing them to our accessible play centre, we are able to offer them the opportunity to have fun and enjoy dinner with their friends, just like their non-disabled peers. In addition to this, After School Club offers parents and carers some much needed respite from the demands of caring for a disabled child, giving them an opportunity to complete everyday tasks such a supermarket shop.

Yesterday I took delivery of some of my order, the two men who delivered and assembled my goods were equally as helpful and willing to do a little bit extra by moving two pieces of furniture to accommodate the new. The main reason for this email is, however, to tell you how pleased we were to have Trina's help throughout this whole process.

She started by guiding us through the sitting room furniture options - styles, colours and combinations. This was our key purchase - the focal point of our sitting room - and we were nervous about getting it wrong. Trina understood this and, crucially, listened to what we were aiming to achieve whilst gently helping us to come to a decision.

By the time she met us at our home, we had decided upon Italian leather furniture for the sitting room, the Houston table and chairs for the breakfast room and, in addition, our ambition had widened to include redecoration of these two rooms plus new flooring and blinds.

We were grappling with questions about hard flooring versus carpet, and the suitability of curtains versus blinds in the sitting room, plus total confusion over wall paint colours! Trina helped to move us forward on all these decisions. She patiently spent time discussing the options with us and listening to our views.

Several months on and we couldn't be more pleased with the choices we made - the rooms look amazing and we feel very comfortable in them. Trina gave us the confidence to opt for contemporary design and colour, which cleverly blends with the original pieces of furniture we wanted to keep and the rest of our home, whilst also creating a lovely light..  [click to read more] and modern feel. Dear Mark,

I am writing to inform you of the excellent customer service I have received from the Ash Vale store and delivery team.

Approximately 12 weeks ago I spent a substantial amount of time in your Ash Vale store looking for a dining room table and chairs and was looked after by Alan Partridge. He was very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and he was extremely knowledgeable on all the products whilst being sympathetic to my budget.

At that time I ordered the table, chairs and 2 bedside cabinets. The cabinets were delivered first by a gentleman called Kev and another gentleman. This Tuesday, just gone, Kev along with another different gentleman, delivered my table and chairs. It was a pleasure to see Kev again as he and his colleague were polite, professional and efficient. They ensured everything was built, working as it should and conveniently positioned within the room.

Again the staff I spoke with on the phone to arrange delivery and payment were polite and accommodating.

I just wanted to bring this to your attention and thank your staff, particularly Alan and Kev, for their excellent service. I would be grateful if you could pass this feedback onto them.

Hello Ron,

I am writing to thank you for putting me in touch with Owen, who has done a marvellous job in putting our Hartmann shelf unit on the wall (photo attached) as well as sorting out all the lighting systems and even making a hole in the back of the TV unit to house the plugs!

As with all service I have had over the years from Vale Furnishers, I have been delighted with every aspect and each member of staff has always been courteous, polite, friendly and professional.

I am retired now however used to be the Head of Customer Service Training for Virgin Atlantic Airways. If I could go back in time I would have saved a fortune in my training budget as all I would have needed to do was organise coach loads of our staff to visit Vale Furnishers, and spend an hour or so just wandering round and observing a master class in how it should be done!

Sorry for the lateness of this note but Sheila and I really wanted to thank you for all the expert help you gave us in choosing all the new Calligaris furniture and Marinelli sofas we bought back in late September. I think that altogether we must have spent about four or five hours in the showroom constantly changing our minds before you helped us to get focused and settle on what we really wanted.

Anyway we are really very happy with all the new furniture and the new look that we now have, and appreciate all the advice you gave us in making our choices.

Dear Mr Mundell Having recently purchased a carpet from you, I am writing to say how pleased we are with the service received from ordering and being advised by Dan Chapman to the fitting by Bob and Raymond. This was quite an upheaval but I must say everything went smoothly even to Brian the carpenter being available so that the job was completed in the day, with furniture etc back in place. On completion there was a slight mark on the carpet (from the manufacturer, I believe). I telephoned Dan who cam eout, without hesitation and removed the mark, again without any trouble whatsoever. Dear Mr Chapman I had a carpet fitted yesterday, 10th November and feel that I really must write to express my delight at the standard of the fitting. The gentleman whoc ame had the courtesy to telephone to say that he was running a little late as he was cutting the carpet in the warehouse. He arrived at 10.30am and left at 6.15pm, a very long day. What fantastic service. Our new bed was to be delivered between 12 and 2 last Friday, the men rang the doorbell exactly at 12noon, wonderful, brought in the base only to discover one set of castors missing, could we use it on the floor, of course we could, but there might be some in the warehouse. My husband when paying the bill with Russell mentioned this fact, ten minutes later a phone call from Russell, would we be in this afternoon, yes we would, by 2p.m. the man from the warehouse was on the doorstep with the castors, fitted them and left within 10 minutes. Such service doesn’t usually happen these days and we just wanted to say thank you very much and we will be back when we next need something new for the house. Thank you Mr and Mrs Stribling

We are so grateful for your continued support - you may know that all of our services are free of charge to our patients and their families but over the last five years we have seen the proportion of our NHS funding reduce to cover just 12% of our total costs. As a result, the Hospice now has to raise nearly £15,000 every day to provide our full range of services which enable us to support 140 people each and every day. This significant increase means that, more than ever before, we rely heavily on the support and generosity of our local community to provide our current services. Our specialist services are provided in our eighteen-bedded in-patient unit, our thriving Day Hospice, out patient clinics, group work and through our community team supporting people in their own homes.

I have recently had the pleasure of contacting your company re an accident that had happened in my home concerning a piece of Beaver and Tapley, a three drawer unit to be precise. Michelle Hammond was your member of staff that helped me. I needed replacement drawer runners as one set of mine had become damaged. Bearing in mind, my Beaver and Tapley units are over 20 years old, I had little hope of getting identical replacements. Following the delivery of our new furniture on the 23rd of July, we feel it is necessary to put pen to paper to relate our experiences. The initial and subsequent visits to the Showroom were to say the least, well orchestrated and managed to ensure the right unpressured choic,e s were made within a very pleasantly laid out environment. Due to problematical circumstance encountered with the refurbishment of the room into which the items were to go, the actual delivery ofthe items was delayed by a considerable time and unfortunately on more than one occasion. This is just a quick note to say thank you for the excellent service that we received from Vale Furnishings, from the professionalism and friendliness of the sale by you, to the equal professionalism of the delivery. Unfortunately I only caught one of the delivery persons names – James. Please pass on my thanks to both, I realise it was not an easy job getting our new sofa in, but they both did the job extremely well without any complaint. In this day and age I have become more and more disappointed with the customer service or lack of, of an increasingly large number of company’s. Vale Furnishers appears to be a bastion of excellent customer service that is sadly lacking in quite a large number of companies I wont mention. We are very pleased with our new sofa which is of excellent quality and very comfortable to sit on. Overall we have been very pleased with our experience of purchasing this item from your store and looking forward to repeating the process again. I whole heartedly recommend Vale Furnishers to anyone wanting good quality products coupled with absolutely superb customer service. I was sorry not to be able to speak to you on Friday, the day our cane sofa was delivered. This is just a short note to say “thank you” to you and your team for all the trouble you went to in delivering the sofa which your delivery lads had tried so hard to accomplish – our front and back doors were just not wide enough for them to complete the delivery. You contact, Paul, arranged to have one of the back windows of the bungalow removed, your lads got the sofa through, and the window was replaced. The arrangement, Vale Furnishers/Paul, worked perfectly and the sofa was safely installed in about 20 minutes.

Dear Mr Partridge,
I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for helping us to find the perfect chair for my sister. You went beyond normal expectations by taking the two chairs out to her for her to choose from. My sister is over the moon with her chair, and it has made such a difference to her day that she can now sit in her bedroom and look out over her garden while in complete comfort.
