Venjakob combines precise German engineering with an unusually broad range of sizes, finishes and configurations, giving you far more freedom to shape a dining or living space around the way you actually want to use it. From beautifully engineered extending dining tables to flexible cabinet systems, dining chairs and modular furniture, the strength of the range lies in how easily the different options can be adapted to suit your room.
We have worked with Venjakob for over 15 years, and during that time the brand has gone from strength to strength both in the UK and on our own showroom floor. Our team has received regular product training both at Vale and at the factory in Germany, so we know how the different collections fit together and where moving from one range to another can open up a better size, finish or configuration.
Across many Venjakob collections you will find the same useful building blocks in different proportions: low and high TV units, sideboards in several heights, highboards, display cabinets and a mixture of floor-standing and wall-mounted pieces. This makes it much easier to build a room around the storage you actually need rather than trying to make one standard unit fit.
Finish choice is another important part of the range. Individual collections commonly offer several core finishes, with additional accent woods or lacquers available on selected pieces. Lighting can also be incorporated into many cabinet designs, adding useful detail without changing the practical purpose of the furniture.
Venjakob dining tables are available in a wide range of sizes, with fixed and extending versions across the collection. On extending models, the engineering is one of the details worth trying in person. The actions are well made and carefully fitted, and different tables offer different extension capacities depending on how much extra seating you need.
There is also a growing choice of table-top materials. Depending on the model, options can include solid wood, veneers and HPL surfaces. These do not simply change the appearance: they can also alter the price, feel and practical character of the table, so it is worth comparing them rather than assuming one specification is automatically right for you.
Many Venjakob dining chairs can be specified with or without arms and with fixed or swivel bases. Some designs also offer different seat thicknesses. We tend to favour the softer, thicker seat options for our displays, but the important thing is to sit properly in the chair and compare the feel for yourself.
It is also worth considering the chair and table together. Arms, swivel bases and wider seats can affect how closely chairs tuck beneath the table, while the table-leg position can influence how easily everyone gets in and out.
Customers often start by looking for a TV unit and then realise that a wider modular arrangement would make better use of the wall. Venjakob provides pre-configured combinations that work well together, but we can also use its planning software to build a scheme from individual elements.
The planning system can take account of room colours, windows and other features, and can incorporate Venjakob dining tables and chairs as part of the same design. This makes it much easier to judge the proportions of a complete room before ordering.
Venjakob is not always a name customers know before they visit us, but it has become a firm favourite with our sales team because of the choice, quality and variety of sizes available. Our showroom gives you the opportunity to compare different tables, chairs and cabinet ranges in person, as well as suitable alternatives from other manufacturers if Venjakob is not the right fit for your room or budget.
Bring room measurements, photographs or even a rough sketch with you and we can help you work through the sizes, finishes and configurations that make the most sense.
