There is something particularly appealing about the way Porada works with wood. Its furniture is contemporary, yet the flowing shapes, natural materials and attention to detail give it a warmth and elegance that feel timeless.

At Vale Furnishers, our background has always been strongly rooted in wooden furniture, and we have worked with Porada since 2014. We particularly admire what the Italian manufacturer achieves with American black walnut. The curves, beautifully worked joints and meticulous way individual pieces of wood come together are all part of the design. It is furniture you instinctively want to touch and feel.

Contemporary design with a natural softness

Interiors have increasingly embraced organic shapes, natural colours and materials that bring warmth into a room. Porada's furniture sits comfortably within this approach, but its appeal goes well beyond a particular trend. There is a classical Italian elegance to the proportions and detailing, even when the shapes themselves are quite adventurous.

Porada also combines wood with materials such as glass, ceramic, metal and marble. The contrast can be striking: the substantial weight and character of stone alongside the fine lines and flowing forms of carefully shaped walnut. It gives the designs a contemporary edge without losing their natural warmth.

The enduring appeal of the Infinity table

The Infinity dining table captures much of what we admire about Porada. Its interconnecting wooden base forms a continuous, sculptural shape that is almost mesmerising to look at. Infinity was already one of the defining designs when we began working with Porada in 2014, and it remains just as relevant today.

Over the years, Porada has developed the design with different table shapes and materials, including ceramic tops. It is a good example of how the collection continues to evolve while preserving the character of the original woodworking.

Discover Porada at our Designers Studio

Porada is one of the specialist furniture brands available to explore through our Designers Studio, alongside names such as Cattelan Italia, Giorgetti and Giorgio. Each brings a different approach to contemporary Italian furniture, materials and design.

We've worked with Porada since 2014 and have developed a particular appreciation of its woodworking and attention to detail. The products featured on our website give a good representation of the Porada collection available to explore through our Designers Studio, rather than a comprehensive display in our main Ash Vale showroom.

If you are interested in Porada, please contact us to arrange an appointment. We can discuss the collection, explore suitable designs and give you the opportunity to appreciate the materials and craftsmanship in person.
