Fama is particularly strong when you want furniture with a little more individuality, whether that comes from the way a chair moves, an unusual shape or a fabric combination you would struggle to create elsewhere.
We keep a broad, changing Fama display at Ash Vale and can access products from across the full catalogue. Having worked with the brand for close to 20 years, we are used to guiding customers through models and configurations even when every option is not physically on the shop floor.
If you are looking for an individual chair, start with our Fama occasional chairs. If movement is important, compare the reclining chairs or, where lift assistance is needed, the riser recliners.
For larger seating, Fama also offers fabric sofas, fabric corner sofas and sofa beds. The sofas can offer useful flexibility in widths, arms, backs and powered options, while the sofa beds are particularly good for dual-purpose rooms.
Fama offers a particularly broad choice of colours, plains and patterns, and on suitable models different sections can be upholstered independently. That makes it possible to use a strong print selectively rather than covering the whole piece.
Our configurator lets us test those combinations on the model, but we would still recommend checking the physical samples before ordering. Colour, texture and pattern scale cannot be judged reliably from a screen alone.
Photographs, room measurements and any existing colour or fabric references are useful when comparing Fama. We can then look at how the piece will sit, move and relate to the rest of the room rather than treating it as an isolated purchase.
