Actona is a Danish furniture supplier we have worked with for many years. What we like about the range is that good design comes first, but at an affordable price. We have particularly chosen pieces that fill useful gaps in our wider ranges, including compact furniture for smaller kitchens, bedrooms, home offices and living spaces.

Well-designed furniture that makes good use of space

Actona thinks carefully about the proportions of its furniture as well as how each piece can be packed and transported efficiently. That makes the range particularly interesting when you need something smaller or simply do not need to spend more to get the look and function you want.

There is no reason every piece in a room needs to come from the same supplier or cost the same. Actona furniture can sit very comfortably alongside more expensive pieces if the proportions, design and finish work together. If you like an Actona design but the finish or size is not quite right, talk to us; we are used to looking across different suppliers and suggesting alternatives.

Delivered by Vale for home assembly

There is one important difference to understand before choosing Actona. Unlike most furniture we sell, Actona is supplied boxed for you to assemble at home. Our own Vale team still delivers your furniture, rather than handing it over to a parcel courier, but assembly is not included.

From our experience with Actona, the instructions are clear, the fittings work as they should and the assembly process is well considered. Efficient packing and home assembly are part of what allows Actona to offer well-designed furniture at such an accessible price.

If you would rather have furniture delivered fully assembled, talk to us and we can help you compare alternatives from our wider ranges.
